This Catnip Blanket tutorial is not mine, but one that I’ve done a few times. Essentially, it’s a blanket with a Velcro opening so you can put catnip inside To create it, you need 2 pieces of fleece (they recommend 12″ x 17″) and a piece of hook and loop tape (Velcro™).
I like to make a bunch of these and donate to my local shelter. It’s great for adult cats because it gives them something warm to lay on with catnip to help relax them in their setting.
And it’s a great way to use up all the fleece I end up buying every time Joann’s Fabric has a sale.
